The fastest fuel-cell car at the Nürburgring Nordschleife

Nürburgring Nordschleife, the iconic circuit status has changed, from what we call the true 'motorsport arena' which become an important business for automakers. But a new era has come: brings fuel cell-powered racing cars.

As reported by the GIZMAG on Tuesday, May 26, 2017, Forze VI succeeded through a challenging Nürburgring race track along 21 km under 11 minutes, and a new record in the process, as well as being the fastest fuel-cell vehicles surrounding The Ring.

Such as the remarkable achievements of this, you need to know that there are certain important aspects that allow a performance like that. The former Formula 1 driver, Jan. Lammers who holds the steering wheel of this car and said he was very impressed with the work done by the student team behind the Forze VI project.

"It's really amazing how inspiring the students have designed and built a race car that also has very good handling, even more given the highly sophisticated technology in it. I salute them."
During these efforts, Forze VI reaches a top speed of 170 Km/h, but it is believed the car was capable of more than that. In theory, the car can speed up to 220 Km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h in 4 seconds, all with zero carbon footprint. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | FORZE VI | GIZMAG]
