As reported by Gizmag on Monday, June 22, 2015, this one-wheeled vehicle called Moto Pogo can move forward when the driver leaned forward and halt by leaning backward. At this vehicle there are the gyroscopic sensor and accelerometers which are used to adjust the speed and balance in accordance with the user's body movements.
Gyroscopic sensors and accelerometers within the Moto Pogo ensure that the rider stays centered above the wheel, by subtly adjusting the speed to compensate for their shifting center of mass. (Picture from: http://kck.st/1IYu4BX)
The power used by Moto Pogo derived from 60 volt 10-amp lithium battery powers the Moto Pogo's 500-watt brushless hub motor which can make it 'run' with a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The battery charging takes three to five hours. With one fully-battery capacity, this bike can cover a distance of up to 30 km.
