Some time ago the famous German car manufacturer, Volkswagen (VW) had revealed will create a concept of sports car that uses an engine of Ducati motorcycles. (look the info here).
Apparently VW keep their promise this time, when presented a sports car at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2015, named 'XL Sport,' which is a sports car that uses an engine of Ducati motorcycles.

VW pinned on the XL Sport an engine that is also used on the Ducati 1199 Superleggera, the two-cylinder V-twin engine that has a capacity of 1,200 cc. This machine is capable of spraying power up to 197 hp. And its transmission systems rely on a seven-speed dual clutch DSG transmission.

Developed on the basis of the VW XL1, the XL Sport weighs just 890 kg thanks to its Carbon Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) fabrication. The vehicle measures 4,291 mm in length, 1,847 mm in width, 1,152 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,424 mm.
The body design is quite futuristic because it does not use the front and rear bumper. Headlights slanted with the use of LEDs, while at the rear lights are put on the edge of the air vent.
