Tivoli EVR Concept shown in Seoul

The SsangYong Tivoli EVR Concept has been officially presented to the public at the 2015 Seoul Auto Show, in South Korea, in a premiere.

SsangYong’s newest creation is called the Tivoli EVR and this is a concept which has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Seoul Auto Show, in South Korea, in a premiere. This concept car, first shown at the Geneva Motor Show last month, is the greener version of the compact SUV with CO2 emissions of only 40 g/km.

The model in question has been based on the production version of the Tivoli crossover and the EVR Concept is basically a range extending vehicle which is adding some interesting tweaks.

According to the car manufacturer, the new SsangYong Tivoli EVR has received a one-cylinder gasoline engine under its hood, which is acting as a generator to recharge the battery which is sending its juice to the 127 hp (98 kW) electric motor.

Thanks to this configuration, the model has a total range of 499 km (310 miles) and it can run up to 129 km (80 miles) on electric power alone. Top speed of the vehicle stands at 150 kph (93 mph).

If this has caught your attention and you are thinking that you will be able to add such a model to your garage soon, you will be disappointed to find out that the company has no plans of putting it into production, at this time anyway.
