Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) has recently reveal their latest supercars, SCG 003S and SCG 003C as the racing version. Both hypercar has made their debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2015 some time ago. As reported by the Carscoops, James Glickenhaus's latest project could be said to be inspired by the LMP1/LMP2 prototypes.
These two supercars designed at Granstudio in Turin, Italy, in collaboration with Podium Engineering and Paolo Catone who previously worked for Peugeot Team, and successfully brought the Peugeot 905 and 908 to won the Le Mans 24-Hour some time ago.
Both of these supercars, namely SCG 003S (Stradale) and 003C (Competizione), will use the chassis that made of carbon fiber, with its power coming from the twin-turbo V6 engine to Stradale, which is currently under construction.
Meanwhile, the racing version (Competizione) will get a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, which is an uprated version of Honda, which is capable of producing a total output of 530 hp (390 kW) at 6,800 rpm and peak torque of 700 Nm (517 ft-lbs) at 4,500 rpm. This machine units combined with sequential transmission system. The competizione version has a weight only 1,350 kg.
And SCG 003 became the fastest vehicle which crossing at the Nürburgring Nordcshleife circuit with a time of 6 minutes 43 sec. While the Porsche 918 grabbing 6 minutes 57 seconds, at the same time beat the record held by Pagani Zonda R namely 6:47:50.
