Imagine, what the look of the Porsche 911 in the future? So far Porsche itself for decades continued to maintain the Porsche 911 design, even if there is a change, not too radical.

As reported by Carscoop on February 23, 2015, Ege Arguden, a Turkish designer who worked as an intern at BMW, Chrysler, Ford, VW and Porsche, has made the concept of the Porsche 901 during his 7th term at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, under the supervision of Jae Min. The aim is to reinvent the design of the 911 by revisiting its past.

"The purpose of the Porsche 901 is to go back to the roots and capture the essence of the original 911 figure," said Arguden explained. "The design process starts with analyzing 911. Both in size and individual design elements, I try to catch 911 in a new way," he added.

Furthermore, according Arguden, Signature elements of the 911 design such as round headlights and the organic body shape is still required to achieve design goals, but he tried to modernize these elements with subtle changes.
One key aspect of the 901 Concept made by Arguden is a smaller footprint, which a length of 4,300 mm, almost the same as the original 911 at 4,290 mm and nearly 200 mm shorter than Porsche 991 at 4,491 mm.
