8 Most unique & beautiful Racing Cars ever made (Part-2)

Racing cars produced by one goal is to win the race. Therefore, all other features are usually made only to support these objectives. In fact, sometimes the designers of racing cars are undermining the aesthetic aspect.

The car aesthetics is usually not considered in the race car. But not so with the following 8 racing cars. It can be said these cars represent a combination of speed to win the race with the car's aesthetics. So not infrequently these cars also have a shape that is quite unique and beautiful.

4. 1967 Ferrari 330 P4

Often mentioned as the most beautiful race car ever built, the Ferrari 330 P4 carried a 4.0 liter V-12 engine, with three valves per cylinder, which produced 450 horsepower. The 330 P4 was part of a one-two-three Ferrari sweep at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, defeating the team of 7.0 liter Ford GT40s.

3. 1977 Porsche 936

This unique and beautiful racing car only produced 3 units with different chassis. The whole cars of Porsche 936 has been won the Le Mans championship within 5 years.

As shown in the photograph, the uniqueness of this car is the rear wing specially developed by an aerospace company. When viewed in reverse, then the tip of the wing is not much different from the tip of a modern aircraft.

2. 1981 Zakspeed Ford Capri

Where many of our other candidates have been smooth or swoopy, the Zakspeed Capri draws its beauty from its aggressiveness. Built on a full-frame tube chassis, the car competed in Group 5 racing in Europe. While 600 horsepower was the stated output of the turbocharged Ford motor, some put it closer to 750 horsepower.

1. 2008 Mazda Furai

Here’s a riddle for you. Does a race car have to race to be considered a race car? Mazda built the Furai concept on top of its fully- operational Le Mans prototype car chassis, but never raced it.
