Of the whole concept of the Mercedes-Benz labeled F Concept, this product is a lesson for the future models. And the Germans manufacturer translate it with the word, "Indicates if the car starts to change from the transport function into a private space."

From the appearance, the F 015 Luxury in Motion looks like the future car with futuristic curves. Its grille design that dominates throughout the front of the vehicle with the blue shaded of LED light on both sides. The similar light out of both sides of the bumper and the Mercedes-Benz star logo in the center of the grille.

Interestingly, the LEDs lights on the front of the vehicle also serves to communicate with other road users. When the autonomous system working, the LED will emit a light of blue shades. Whereas if the car driven by someone (manually), then the light will change to the color of white. And the taillights can create a word of warning to the drivers in the back, such as "Slow" or "Stop".

Dimension of the concept is somewhat unlike the cars in general, with a length of 5,220 mm, a width of 2,018 mm, 1,524 mm high, and axle 3,610 mm. The axis of wheels deliberately extended in order to create enough free space for the passengers in the cabin.

One of the other advantages are underlined by Mercedes-Benz on this concept is unique cabin design. This car is equipped with four luxurious lounge style seats that can rotate, so that between the driver and passenger can talk to each other face to face with each other. This seat can be used for driving, relax, or even a brief meeting with a limited number of participants.

When the door is opened, the seat can be shifted 30 degrees to the outside so that it feels more spacious for the entry-exit. The neck of steering wheel is also flexible, can extend itself to the driver's range when going to control the car in manual mode. Check out the video of the Mercedes-Benz future car concept.
The driver also served by six integrated screens in the dashboard that displays a variety of information. These screens are also connected to the instrument panel on the side and rear of the cabin. The driver and passengers can interact with other vehicles on the road only with gestures, eye sensor, or by touching the screen.

Through this car, Mercedes-Benz claimed was seeking the answers to change the car functions in the future. Predicted in 2030, the population of large cities in the world will increase from the current 10 million to 30 or 40 million. That means is the condition of the road will be more dense and more difficult to drive in the city. And F 015 Concept was prepared by Mercedes-Benz as the answer.
"The only thing that is important and feels luxurious in the 21st century is a personal time and space. And Mercedes-Benz's autonomous car technology will offer it. Through the F 015 Luxury in Motion, the concept of mobility so real for the first time," said Dieter Zetsche, the Chairman of Daimler AG as well as Mercedes-Benz boss, as quoted from Carsoop on January 6, 2015.
The F 015 premium concept car was created to offer a roomy cabin as comfortable as the lounge and equipped with the latest connection technologies. The car allows the driver or passenger is connected to another vehicle, the internet, and the out world. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARSCOOP | WORLDCARFANS]
