Ferrari FXX K has been revealed ahead of its debut on the Finali Mondiali show at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi. Formerly known as LaFerrari XX, because this car is based on LaFerrari. The first hybrid engine of the famous Italian supercar manufacturer will go on sale next year. K on the moniker is a reference to the KERS, the kinetic energy recovery system which has been adopted.
FXX K has a maximum power of 1,050 hp. The power generated from the fusion from a 6.2-liter V12 engine which could spewed a power of 860 hp and 190 hp from the electric motor. The maximum torque produced by the engine is more than 900 Nm. In
terms of design, the front of the car is dominated by the twin-profile
spoiler and larger splitter, which is 30 mm lower than the standard.
On the side profile, we could see a new side skirts, while at the rear is now higher and equipped with a spoiler with small wings on each side. Ferrari says the FXX-K also incorporates highly effective downforce generation and aero balance concepts debuted and developed in the GT category of the WEC, which Ferrari won on three consecutive years. The result is downforce of 540 kg at 200 kph..
