Volkswagen has been featuring their new model, Passat GTE at the Paris Motor Show 2014 some time ago. This is the first time, a plug-in hybrid implemented in the variants of Passat Saloon and Estate.
The Passat GTE is the front wheel drive car that is capable of developing a maximum power up to 218 PS. To optimize the battery and dispel the low of outside air temperature, Passat GTE always "on" for the first time in pure electric position or "E-Mode"

And as the electric vehicles, when the Passat GTE in "E-mode" position capable of driving up to 50 km with zero emissions. At the test drive on the full condition of fuel and batteries, Passat GTE capable of driving over 1,000 km which covered the route of Paris-London-Paris.
