MotoGP motorhome trucks

In the MotoGP racing is certainly not going to take the support truck that has a large size or commonly referred to as a motorhome. The truck bears a great responsibility on the team's travel from one circuit to another.

5. Iveco Ecostralis 500 EEV
This motorhome truck used by the Yamaha factory team, Movistar Yamaha MotoGP. The engine of the Ecostralis family has been optimized, so it can save fuel consumption and more environmentally friendly because its CO2 emissions are much lower. This truck also equipped with the Cursor 10 engine from 420 cv to 460 cv.

In addition, the truck also equipped with EBS (electronic braking system) where the system modulates braking action according to the weight of the vehicle (including the weight of the trailer or semi-trailer). This truck has a sophisticated Blue & Me Fleet telematics system which were developed on the platform of the Fiat-Microsoft Blue & Me, along with Qualcomm.

On-board computer on Ecostralis capable of dialogue with the CANbus system on the vehicle and can requested data on parameters such as fuel consumption, mileage, speed, total distance traveled and more.

4. Iveco Stralis
Another truck varian from Italian truck manufacturer, Iveco used by Ducati satellite team, Pramac Race Team. Stralis is the replacement of the model of EuroStar and Eurotech and its class above Eurocargo which has a payload capacity of 19 to 44 tons.

Stralis was designed based on Iveco Magirus. In the year of 2007, the Stralis got minor updates in the cabin and the front of the truck.

3. MAN TGX
This truck made by the German manufacturer, MAN and used by the Ducati factory team and the Cardion AB Motoracing team. MAN TGX is the champion of a motorhome in a class of 18 to 35 tons. Very suitable for heavy duty transportation. MAN TGX 18 840 is the most advanced tractor head with a very spacious cabin, as well as the largest in its class.

The truck driven by 480 PS of power bursts that generated from six-cylinder engine and combined with a 12-speed automatic transmission system. In addition, it also equipped with additional equipment, including xenon lights, cruise control, until Lane Guard System (LGS) to alert the driver if a sudden lane change.

2. Mercedes-Benz Actros
Truck which was first introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 1995 was used by the Repsol Honda team. The vehicle is able to accommodate weights up to 18 tons and powered by a V8 diesel engine with turbocharger and intercooler.

Mercedes Benz Actros engine is equipped with two types of engines namely OM 501LA-541 and OM 502LA-542. OM 501 engine is a V612-liter engine that has a power of 310 hp up to 460 hp.

For the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz Actros has been equipped with an electronic sequential gearbox called Telligent Gearbox. The fourth version of the Mercedes-Benz Actros was launched in 2011 by offering 12 levels of acceleration.

1. Renault Magnum
Truck which was first launched in 1990 it became the mainstay of the Renault fleet and used by the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team. Truck that had appeared on the Top Gear S12 E01 television show and won the "International Truck of the Year" award in the exhibition which was held on 1991.

This truck carries a 12L inline-6 ​​engine made by AB Volvo Group. Changes included in the latest engine management and injection systems are developed with Delphi. There are three engine configurations - 440 hp, 480 hp and 500 hp.
