Lagonda limited reborn

Renowned British automotive company, Aston Martin realize the company's plans to resurrect their flagship premium sedan ie Lagonda. But unfortunately, the company confirmed that they will only produce its luxury sedan in limited quantities.

As reported by Autoblog on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, that the four-door sedan that has the most futuristic designs in the 70s to 80s will be manufactured with a number less than a hundred units. The company would like to repeat that triumph was achieved by carrying back the Lagonda name on a premium sedan that they are working on at this time.
Consequently, Aston Martin asks Q as modified division to take over production of the Lagonda with customization services division Q. In addition to being slow, this limited production quantity also makes Lagonda will be very expensive.

Broadly speaking, the design of the latest Lagonda is not too much changed. Hood belongs to the premium sedan remains elongated with sharp head lamp design that resembles a shark but now has a much wider grille.

Aston Martin will retains  the sporty and futuristic design of Lagonda with its doors and side more modern when compared with other UK premium cars such as Bentley, Maserati, and Rolls Royce. Not only has a sporty design, Aston Martin will use the body of carbon composite materials to reduce vehicle weight.

On the engine section, Lagonda will use a machine that is the result of Rapide evolution ie V12 with a capacity of 5.9 liters and can generate power of 600 hp. The machine is powered by an eight-speed automatic transmission that was adopted from the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG.
