Mahindra feels proud to introduce GenZe in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on May 10, 2014. Electric scooter is capable of driving as far as 48 km in a fully charged condition. Maximum speed of only 48 kph. With the specifications offered by GenZe, consumers in the U.S. do not need to have a driver's license to drive it.
Scooter with one passenger is manufactured at Mahindra plant in Michigan with a capacity of 9,000 units per year. If sales are good, the capacity can be increased to 20,000 units per year. GenZe developed in Palo Alto, California and was designed simultaneously produced in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
