Not only able to sweat, the robot is also able to show expressions and mimic of the human face. As reported from Engadget on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, Japanese scientists from Kansai University revealed, that they have to make robots exactly more like human.
A team of engineers led by Dr. Tomoko Yonezawa of Japan's Kansai University have put together a kind of robot (well, two of them) that can react to tense situations the same way we humans do. That means that the robots can sweat and even get goosebumps in the presence of cold breezes or when told something scary.
Researchers developed three prototypes, one of which is a machine that can shiver when exposed to cold or catch the spooky stories. Other prototype robot that can make its head sweat when being anxious or agitated.
The next prototype presents Breatter involving built-in fan to produce the robot's breath while talking. The team believes that if the prototype is incorporated, then the robot is no longer a regular robot that just move automatically. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | ENGADGET]
