Yamaha claimed that their three wheeled vehicle, Tricity 125 cc has been ready in the production stage. As quoted from an automotive websites, Zigwheels that Tricity is an alternative for those who do not usually use two wheels vehicle.

Tricity can do so because of parallelogram link that makes the rider can tilt the vehicle as a regular motorcycle. Another important component is a special telescopic front fork cantilever type tandem with two separate tubes at each wheel. Its function is keeping the distance between the two front wheels during cornering while maintaining steady handling when on bumpy roads. The technology is different from the Piaggio MP3 which uses coil-over shock on the front wheels.

Yamaha Tricity engine using injection and liquid cooling system. Power is channeled to the rear wheels through a CVT transmission. The front brake uses 220 mm discs and rear 230 mm Unified Brake System (UBS). The brake system make sudden braking distance can be shorter by about 15 percent.

Tricity weighs 152 kg thanks to a lightweight tubular frame and alloy vast wheels measuring 14 inches. In Tricity there are luggage under the seat enough for half face helmet while on the dashboard the instrument panel are fully digital.
