T-Roc Concept is ready to shake

Volkswagen (VW) did not want to be present at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show without impression. For that, they had prepared VW T-ROC Concept as one of the visitors attractions. VW T-ROC formulated as a 3-doors, 4-seater SUV with a sports aura plus low roof like a coupe.

The fierce front view with elongated grille. On the back is made slightly bulging so as to emit solid shades. Presence would compete with the Land Rover Evoque. The vehicle has a long dimension of 4,179 mm, width 1,831 mm and height 1,501 mm. Its dimensions are shorter 248 mm and 22 mm width than the Tiguan.

Well, as a crossover vehicle, the Volkswagen T-Roc has a ground clearance of 185 mm. T-Roc concept car is based on the very flexible MQB platform. Platform bind a TDI engine which has a capacity of 2.0-liter that can spew power of 184 hp with 380 Nm of torque.

As quoted from CarAdvice, on Friday, February 28, 2014, this engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive system that will drive all four wheels. Volkswagen claims that the T-Roc crossover concept able to move from 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 6.9 seconds with fuel consumption of 4.9 liters per 100 km.
