Is this the first CNG-powered Sports car?


A new automotive manufacturer named Godsil Motorcars released their latest car footage on internet. According to the plan's CNG-powered car, and is a first ultra luxury sports car that used compressed natural gas.

Detailed itself has not been fully explained. But the founder and CEO Jason Godsil explained his mission to create the next American sports car. As reported by Leftlane News, this car will be called the Godsil Manhattan is carried a sleek coupe shape. It is remind us to the 1950s American GT cars.

The car's obvious characteristic is the long snout, short overhangs, and the side windows with teardrop shaped. All these features will be completed with wheel arches and the short roof.

The Coupe will be the first production of the V16 engine with CNG-powered. Here will be seen the advantage of an impressive performance with very low CO2 levels. While laying the engine is not yet known, it will be something great for the automotive industry. Will be one of the largest power generators are implanted into the passanger car by an American company.

This V16 engine could displace 8.0-liters and produce an amazing 900 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque. Consequently, Godsil claims that the Manhattan may reach 96 kph (60 mph) from a standstill in just 2.8 seconds on its way to a Lamborghini Aventador beating top speed of 220 mph.

Godsil Motorcars is a two years old car company and based in Portland, Oregon. Now Godsil Motorcars are looking for investors and sponsors to help realize the Manhattan becomes a reality. While the architecture itself is done by the designer for setting up this car. Will we witness the car running in the street in the near future?
