The premiere manufacturer of electric two and three-wheelers in Japan, Terra Motors spawn an electric sports motorcycle with aggressive futuristic design named "Kiwami," the name derived from the Japanese word meaning "extreme" or "ultimate".

The electric sports motorcycle has introduced in India on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, and exhibited to the public in the 2014 Delhi Auto Show, that takes place on February 5-11, 2014. Kiwami will be the pioneer of electric motorcycles in the country with the second largest motorcycle market in the world.
Terra Motors does not provide a detailed description of the batteries types that used in this motorcycle. They just say, that the electric motor is used to generate 10 kW (13.6 PS) of power. Although the power output seems equivalent to a 125 cc motorcycle due to clever combination of technology and innovation, the company claims that the Kiwami has the performance attributes of a 1000 cc superbike.

The Tokyo-based company established since 2010 and investing around U.S. $4.8 million (or approx Rp. 58 billion) to expanded into India. The sport electric motorcycle will be sale at a price of U.S. $28,740 (or approx Rp. 350 million).
Terra Motors already has 1,000 dealers in Japan, with annual sales reaching 20,000's units. Before Kiwami been born, the product of this manufacturer which already has been marketed is the A4000i e-scooter.
