Ford Mustang in Black

Before the fifth generation of the legendary American musclecar, Ford Mustang bids farewell, the American automotive giant Ford will launch the first limited edition devoted exclusively to the Japanese market.

As reported Leftlanenews, on Monday, February 10, 2014, musclecar nicknamed Ford Mustang V8 GT Coupé Black, will have the shape and appearance as the name of the body that is given the deep black color, ranging from exterior to interior even up to its 19-inch wheels that unless the alloy rims-polished with another color.

Under the American musclecar hood, there lies a V8 engine that has a capacity of 5.0 liter and equipped with Ford's Ti-VCT variable valve timing system. So that the engine is capable of generating power up to 420 hp with a maximum torque of 390 lb-ft. The only transmission offered is the 6-speed automatic.

Special musclecars that sold in Japan is priced at ¥5,050,000 including taxes, or about $49,358 (or approx Rp. 601.8 million) and will be produced in limited numbers, ie only 40 units, and will go on sale on March 15, 2014.
