After premiering at the Autosport International 2013 event as a supercar for circuit track only, and they promised will be presented Sin R1 in the road-legal version next year.
As promised, a road-legal variant of the Sin R1 track car has been unveiled at the Autosport International 2014 in Birmingham.
The Sin R1 supercar was built by Munich-based company Sin Cars GmbH. and pinned to be produced in limited numbers this year, and pricing will begin at £60,000 (approx U.S. $99,000 or Rp. 1.2 billion).
This car uses Chevrolet V8 configuration engine that has a capacity of 6.2 liters and is claimed capable of spitting out 525 hp (386 kW). Power is channeled to the rear wheels through a manual 6-speed transmission system.
With the harmoniuos blend, the two-seater supecar can be driven from 0-100 kph (62 mph) in less than 2.5 seconds before reaching a topspeed 321.8 kph (200 mph), while stopping power will come from AP Racing 362 mm disc brakes.
It then features an FIA-homologated spaceframe chassis, the weight of Sin R1 is only 1,200 kg (2,646 lbs) and equipped with 19-inch rims. Other features are also there in this car is the F1-style fuel tank made by the M.E.RIN Fuel Safety. The bodywork may not look very adventurous but it does generate almost 250 kg (551.16 lbs) of downforce.
According to Phil Matts, Director of ProFormance Metal Limited as Sin Cars partner to developed the supercar, "A lot happened after we started discussing this project at Autosport International 2012. And for two years we developed this project from a blank piece of paper."
