Patented as an American supercar

Verde supercar was originally a brainchild of an Australian-born Peter Collorafi, CEO/President of Revenge Designs Inc. He had earlier said that his company efforts focused on projects in order to increase the car sales of more appealing prospective buyers, and now he has enjoyed great success in Australia.

"This car has similar specifications to the Ford GT, but in different shaped," said Collirafi. But now, the Revenge Verde supercar has been patented as an American-made, which was assembled in America and sold not just in America.

Speaking of which, Revenge claims that the Verde shares a good portion of its aluminum chassis with the dearly departed Ford GT. The powertrain options are interesting. The first option is the Roush-sourced Ford Racing V8 with 605 hp and the second was the supercharged GM LS9 with 638 hp.

And the 3rd was the Hp2g (a green alcohol-based fuel) Hybrid drivetrain option that significantly reduces green house gas emissions. The H2PG powertrain runs on E85 (ethanol) fuel coupled with an electric motor. Power is said to max out at 400 hp and 500 lb-ft (677 Nm) of torque.

In testing, HP2g has exhibited ultra-high fuel economy i.e over 110 mpg (2.14 liters/100 km) and outstanding horsepower upon demand. The HP2g is EPA approved and the first production vehicle to utilize the HP2g technology is the Revenge Verde.

This car is claimed to accelerate from zero to 100 kph (62 mph) in just under 4-5 seconds. Meanwhile, this car also can be driven up to reach a maximum speed of 321,87 kph (200 mph). Verde supercar will feature the 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels in black chrome, 9 front and 12 rear and wrapped with four Michelin tires. To stop the car's speed, the braking system relied on the Brembo's four-piston brake calipers which mated to a carbon fiber and aluminum rotors.

According to Collorafi, Verde plans to sell 3,000 over the next four years (since 2010) and has had orders from the United States and around the world, including Europe and even Ukraine.
