Volkswagen (VW) is preparing their new products to be exhibited at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2014 in Detroit which takes place next week. The model is named Beelte Dune which gets a new twist with more macho face. The original Beetle Dune concept was introduced by Volkswagen in 2000.
This model uses the latest generation Beetle. The vehicle adopts a rugged crossover-like styling approach with flared wheel arches, protective plates, black moldings and large alloy wheels. The cabin boasts several yellow accents and a handle which has replaced the glove box.
Its ground cleareance is raised 50 mm compared to the standard Beetle. To reinforce the impression of manly used alloy wheels 19" wider and make the Beetle Dune legs look more stocky.. On the back, there is a place for storing skis.
Look dashing with its yellow body increasingly inviting the visitors should see it. Mentioned by VW, that the car uses a 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters, which is capable of spewing power of 210 HP (154 kW) and coupled with the 6-speed automatic transmission with double clutch DSG.
