Spaniard small companies kicked off by releasing a supercar which they named Tauro V8 Spider. This super car seems to be an amalgamation of the Pontiac Solstice, Alfa Romeo 4C, Fisker Karma and Chevrolet Corvette.
This super car is made by Tauro Auto Sport, a Valladolid based company and recognized by them was based on the Pontiac Solstice, which is also known as the Saturn Sky, Opel GT, and Daewoo G2X.
In the hand of Tauro, V8 Spider can look fierce and differ with Pontiac Solstice. Meanwhile, when viewed from the rear, the supercar design is similar to the Alfa Romeo 4C. While of the front seems very inspired by the Fisker Karma. But for the interior sector, Tauro still using the Pontiac Solstice's cabin with two seats and features Alcantara trim, leather-covered dashboard and an aluminum gear knob.
The dramatic change is behind the hood of this car. For though thick with the Pontiac Solstice's DNA, it turns Tauro supercar uses a Chevrolet Corvette's V8 engine which has a capacity of 6.2 liters, so capable of spraying power up between 440 hp and 650 hp depending on the performance package selected and comes with a six-speed manual transmission.
The engine power is then channeled to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission system that makes the base model can accelerate to 100 kph (62 mph) from a standing start in only 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 295 kph (183 mph). The figures should be even more impressive with 650 hp under the hood.
