The estrogen and testosterone hormones play a role in the onset of sexual desire. Without these hormones, we probably will never get to the "true love" stage.

When we are falling in love, signs that appear include pounding heart, flushed skin and sweaty palms. The researchers say this is caused by norepinephrine, dopamine and phenylethylamine that released by our bodies and giving us the euphoria feeling.

Many other substances secreted while falling in love is the adrenaline that causes our heart beat faster when we are around someone we like. Dopamine described as the "happiness chemical" that produce feelings of pleasure. Norepinephrine is similar to adrenaline and causes a pounding heart.

According to Helen Fisher, an anthropologist and researcher of love from Rutgers University, both of these chemicals produce elation, intense energy, sleeplessness, feelings of longing, loss of appetite and focused attention. In other words, people who are in love are often just focus on their love relationship and forget about other things. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | NET | GI | PIKIRAN RAKYAT 29082013]
