Current model Nissan 370Z is not a successful model of the 350Z in 2002 to revive the reputation of Z in Europe, the U.S. and Japan. The 370Z models marketing hit by the global recession, so its sales were down 45 percent from last year in the largest U.S. markets and do not have a major impact like 350Z models.

In the early stages, Nissan bringing the cars that developed from Z Concept. Palmer leaked, that a new car is smaller and lighter, but no less "fierce" from the previous model. For the concept model on display at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show some time ago is used a pure electric drive system but the possibility of mass production models still uses a gasoline engine, maybe a four-cylinder turbo, but not the current 3.7-liter V6 engine. Surely, this sports car will be offered with the Nismo awesome performance packages.

"I do not want to get into some sort of segment of the Toyota GT 86. Traditional sports car as it is quite capable, but not this segment are our targets are. We will explain the next-generation sports car," explained Palmer further.

Still not want to explain about the detail, Palmer later describe this car in two words "Fun and full of energy". There is a possibility of this new model Nissan Z uses the Mercedes-Benz hardware, as the current Nissan involved cooperation with Daimler. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | NISSAN | AUTOCAR]
