One of Alfa Romeo's most famous car and made before World War II is a 1935 Alfa Romeo Tipo C 8C-35. This car is a Ferarri's racing team car and driven by Tazio Nuvolari when it took the 1936 Coppa Ciano race title - and left a media frenzy trailing in his wake. Deep red, shaped like a bullet, with a top speed of 265.54 kph (165 mph), its force and precision was unrivaled.

The engine of the racing car that has the chassis number 50013 is capable of spraying power of 330 horsepower, and is also one of the most successful racing cars in the era. Legendary Alfa Romeo which was built to beat Hitler's racing car can still do top speed of 165 mph. But after the war, Mussolini's motor spent almost four decades decades unused. |

It bought was by wealthy industrialist Dennis Poore who could drive it whenever and wherever he wanted. He often took it to the race in 1947 as well as performing at Goodwood in September, 1948 and won the RAC British Hill-Climb Championship. But by 1955 he sent it to a barn at his home in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, where it remained untouched until his death in 1987.

Once restored, this car is re-auctioned at the Goodwood Revival Sale near Chichester on September 14, 2013, a besotted buyer could not resist making history again to handing over £5,937,500 or U.S. $9.44 million or approx Rp. 107 billion for the legendary Alfa Romeo 8C-35. Making it Europe's second most-expensive car after Mercedes W196.
