Meaning of the wolves howl

The wolf howling is often described as the one of marks of horror situation and always made the nape feathers creeps, evidently the howl of wolves showed that they are very concerned about their families out of the neighborhood.

According to the research results as reported by the Dailymail, the howling is a message that can be interpreted as the wolf misses his family. Such howling behavior is normal reaction that occurs when there is a family member of one of the wolves that are currently outside the nest.

The researchers found that the howling which committed by the wolves as they're concerned, and not because of stress. Dr Friederike Range, a researcher and co-director of the Wolf Science Center at the University of Vienna in Austria said that the data shows the howling is not a response to stress. Function of howling for the wolves were more flexible, such as to maintain contact with the herd, helping to unite the flock and as there cares and is concerned for the members outside the nest.

In an attempt to find out the reasons behind the behavior of animals, the researchers began to collect blood samples to measure hormone levels and information about the animals in their environment relationship. Dr Friederike Range adds, the research findings indicate social relationships become stronger reason for the wolves to howl.

It's the reason why was the howl more emotional. The key of all this is a close relationship, such as friendship.
