After some time ago Yamaha Europe released a teaser video of a new fighter street bike which entitled, "Dark Side of Japan". It could be freely translated that the motorcycle will be able to changing face of the world's sport motorcycle. And in June 2013, the reformer figure was launched under the name Yamaha MT-09, which is crowned as the naked 3-cylinder engine street fighter.

Motorcycle that carrying a 3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 847 cc was first introduced at Intermot 2012, Milan-Italy. And Yamaha claims that the engine can generate power of 113.4 PS @10,000 rpm and 87.4 Nm of torque @8,500 rpm.
