Trunk, the Elecric Motorcycle concept

The development of electric vehicles is being aggressively carried the world automobile manufacturers, including two-wheelers. Harley Davidson was interested in developing electric motorcycles.

As reported by Autoevolution, the United States motorcycle manufacturer offers an electric drive motorcycle concept named Trunk. This concept was designed by a French automotive designer, Nicolas Petit.

HD Electric motorcycle designer that offers a fairly traditional design with two concepts combining natural and recycled. The result is really created an environmentally friendly vehicle.

Motorcycle Trunk concept uses an electric motor 135 V. The engine produces a power of 35 kW (48 hp), with maximum torque of 65 Nm. Equipped with a Li-Ion Polymer battery 6.5 kWh, with a charging time of approximately four hours. Petit added dual 320 mm wave rotors in the front, squeezed by 4-piston calipers and a single 2-piston caliper for the 310 mm rear brake disc.

Nicolas Petit's electric motorcycle concept is able to perform to the maximum acceleration going from 0-50 kph (31.07 mph) in under 3.5 seconds, and it could reaches a maximum speed of 130 kph (80.78 mph).
