Not only in Germany, but in some countries, including Indonesia, the Volkswagen Type 2 or better known as the VW Kombi is a legendary Volkswagen's car. The car was first produced in September 2, 1957 and became the most successful models for the Brazilian market and etched in the world's automotive history. However, Volkswagen finally decided to end it.

VW do Brazil announced a VW Kombi Last Edition only produced as much as 600 units. This car will be featured in two tones with a distinctive design plus white roof and blue body. Headlights use crystal glass with a blue ring, matching the color of the car body. The car's front grille given black color and the box shaped. With the white colored on the wall tires and rims to make it look consistent with all exterior appearance.

On the back-side, there is a logo "56 Anos Kombi Last Edition". This car was also given a special identity, i.e the special plaque numbered 000-600 affixed on the dashboard. In the last edition of Kombi cars is fitted with a 1.4-liter water-cooled petrol engine capable of producing power 78 hp to drive its rear wheels through the manual transmission system. If it using ethanol fuel, the car's power will be increase to 80 hp.
The van that became an icon of the Volkswagen is spelled a lot of fans that spread all over the world. And the special edition car is expected to be hounded by its fans. For the item collector's edition, VW will sell it starting with the cheapest price U.S. $ 38,000 or more than Rp.380 million.
