If you ever watch the Armageddon movie, you know how much potential asteroid threat to Earth. In the film depicted that the Earth in danger of collapse because of a giant asteroid will hit the Earth.
To prevent this threat, now The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) made a map to determine which hazardous asteroids with their effects on the Earth.
This NASA graphic shows the orbits of all the known Potentially Hazardous Asteroids (PHAs), numbering over 1,400 as of early 2013. Shown here is a close-up of the orbits overlaid on the orbits of Earth and other inner planets. (Picture from: http://www.space.com/)

NASA released a map titled "Asteroid Has The Potential Dangers", earlier this month. The map was published online in the Planetary Photojournal overseen by the agency's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. This map shows the footprint of more than 1,400 the asteroids orbits near the Earth's position. A NASA official said the asteroid in the map that would not threaten the Earth at least until the next 100 years.
"Potentially hazardous asteroid, measuring about 140 meters, and follow orbits that pass close to the Earth, the path along the 7.5 kilometers," the official said. The asteroids are mapped showed a bunch of blue asteroid around the sun. They orbit around the Earth, Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter. The asteroids are also visible on the solar system.
Although the NASA mapped the asteroid which is considered to have potential danger, it does not mean the asteroid will hit the Earth. They called it as PHAs (Potentially Hazardous Asteroids). NASA states, 95 percent of these asteroids have a large size, which is about 1 kilometer and can harm the Earth. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LIVESCIENCE | SPACE | SATWIKA MOVEMENTI | KORAN TEMPO 4319]
