Futuristic Muscle Car Concept

Who does not know Italdesign Giugiaro. For more than 4 decades the industrial design house based in Moncalieri has produced wonderful designs. Italdesign Giugiaro had designed the VW Golf, Lotus Esprit, Proton Emas, Fiat Uno, and others.

Italdesign who had joined the VW Group's portfolio since 2010, recently launched a Parcour Concept in the form of Coupe and Roadster, its designs much inspired by sports cars and crossovers which carrying is the futuristic muscle car concept with flashy style, but with a touch of Lamborghini inside.

Unique because the Parcour Concept exterior design that embraces the silhouette of a coupe ramps, but has high ground clearance complete with 22" tires like a CUV. So the overall look of the car, that named after an acrobatic sport is a futuristic muscle car. From the front viewed, Parcour Concept looks grim with large airdam applications and slanted headlamp in it.

And the interior concept is ergonomics and functionality. All controls are grouped on the steering wheel and the elegant dashboard which is separating the driver and passenger. All information about the current condition of the vehicle and drive shown by the multifunction LCD monitor is in front of the driver.

The Italdesign Giugiaro's concept car using a base of Lamborghini. Understandably they are both owned by Volkswagen. Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept use the Lamborghini Gallardo's V10 engine which has a capacity of 5.2 liter. The engine coupled with an automatic transmission 7-speed double clutch to channel its great engine power to all-four car wheels.

The machine is capable of producing power of 550 hp (404 kW), so the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds, with maximum speeds reaching 320 kph (199 mph). Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concepts has dimensions of length 4,530 mm (178,35") width 2,070 mm (81.5") and height 1,335 mm (52.56"). While weight reached 1,550 kg (3,417 lbs).

Remarkably, It's not only made in one color, the Parcour Concept has three paint versions. Among of them the coupe version got the red color and white on the roadster version. As well as the racing version got plain gray color combined with the Italian flag color used as racing striping plus number 45 on the front hood and door.
