First introduced on 27 July 1939, Dörr & Schreck first announced the completion of the SW 38, the car is extremely interesting and beautiful. It lies well on the road and the streamlined shape already makes itself felt at 60 kph. Soon after the car was delivered, WWII broke out and its use became very limited. During the chaos of war the test vehicle disappeared and was never found again. The most expensive car theft ever. It’s whereabouts remain a mystery to this day.
The
German manufacturer of luxury cars, Maybach built the unique model as a modern
interpretation of its legendary streamlined sports car from the 1930s,
thereby forging a link with the historical predecessor, which at that
time was likewise based on a powerful Maybachautomobile (SW 38) and
used by Fulda for tyre tests.
The Maybach Exelero is a high-performance sports car designed and built by German luxury car manufacturer. It was presented in May 2005 in Berlin, Germany. The 700 hp (522 kW) two-seater with a bi-turbo Standard 550 bhp V12 engine bored out to 5.9 litres, and tuned for 700 hp and over 738 lb ft of torque is a one-off design commissioned by Fulda Reifenwerke, which is using the Maybach Exelero as a reference vehicle for a newly developed generation of wide tyres.

This
high performance car was the result of intensive tests over many years
and millions of kilometers in technical laboratories and under the most
extreme road conditions at high speed. This car was tested at
the Nardo high-speed oval, despite the 2.66 tonnes weight prototype could accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in
4.4 seconds.
The Exelero embodies the highest expression to date of the Maybach individualisation strategy of offering specific custom solutions on request. In initial tests on the high-speed track in Nardo (Italy), the unique vehicle reached a top speed of 351.45 kph (218.38 mph). Developers at Maybach designed the custom model with the participation of students from Pforzheim College. The Exelero was built by the prototype specialists at Gruppo Stola in Turin (Italy).
The Maybach Exelero's first owner was André A. Jackson, who permitted Jay-Z to feature the Maybach Exelero in the his music video for "Lost One". Then car changed hands to Arnaud Massartic, who sold the car to Birdman for U.S. $ 8 million (or approx Rp 77.6 billion). *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES]
