The Newest Francais Compact Electric Roadster

Although still facing lack of infrastructure, such as the battery charging place, these conditions did not deter the automotive manufacturers to produce many models of electric cars and the electric cars development in the world continues to grow.

Not only in the United States and Japan, the French are now beginning to develop electric cars. Unmitigated, the Pariss Electric, a French EV manufacturer is currently developing a concept of the electric roadster that given named Pariss. With composite design mash-up with elements borrowed from Infiniti, Lotus, Pontiac Solstice and various future-tech films, the all-electric Pariss is promoted as a luxurious and high-performance eco-friendly alternative roadster.

The concept car debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show event proved to have many advantages. In addition to the compact body it also uses a battery that has a long durability. Pariss Roadster has only 3.60 m (11.8 ft) long and 2.30 m (7.5 ft) wheel base. Behind its tucked compact electric motor-powered 100 kw are used to drive all of its four wheels.

While its electric motor can be accelerated from rest to 100 kph (60 mph) under 5 seconds. The Pariss has a range of 200 km (120 miles) and is reported to recharge in 5 hours on a standard 220 volt outlet. There's also talk of a range-extender version that adds a further 500 km (310 miles) to the reach of the car by using a small petrol engine recharge its batteries on the fly.

As quoted from Gizmag, the electric roadster uses the tubular steel frame mindset in order to minimize structural weight, while optimizing torsional rigidity. The body, complete with targa-roof, is of the composite build family. Inside carbon fiber, Kevlar and bits of leather and alcantara make themselves available in an upscale fashion.

This car will compete with the Tesla Roadster, which has a lot of demand in the United States. Tesla cars can reach speeds of 60 mph (100 kph) in 3.7 seconds. With the single of battery charge, Tesla could reach 245 miles (410 km).

However, the Pariss Roadster manufacturer feel sure their products have advantages over Tesla car in terms of technology and price will be offered. The rumour said, the Pariss car will be offered under U.S $100,000. While Tesla priced above U.S. $100,000.
