An Unmanned Combat Aircraft Vehicle (UCAV) that developed by UK's defense company, BAE Systems is rumored to be ready to conduct a test flight. If the flight test is planned to be conducted in Australia was successful, the superdrone named Taranis could be used in battle on the front lines to fight terrorism in all over the world.
The performance of 8 tons superdrone will be monitored by the British military authorities. The Taranis flight test which will initially be carried out in the UK's ever had to be rescheduled due to collide with the strict flight laws in England.
The Taranis is an unmanned combat aircraft project whose implementation is carried out by BAE Systems as prime contractor in cooperation with Rolls-Royce, GE Avistion System, QinetiQ, and the Ministry of Defence. The unmanned aircraft using jet engine and is applying stealth technology so as could to infiltrate into the heart of enemy defenses.
The tests on Taranis, which is powered by a Rolls-Royce Adour 951 engine used on Hawk training jets, will see it flying a simulated mission where it must automatically avoid unexpected threats such as ground to air missiles and seek out potential targets.
Once identified, the operators will send instructions to Taranis to attack the targets before performing a flying past to confirm the damage and then landing safely.

The advantages of this plane is barely radar undetectable, designed through jet speed and be able to explore a considerable distance. The aircraft is also designed to gather intelligence, conduct surveillance and reconnaissance on enemy territory using the sensor in it. Taranis is designed capable of carrying weapons including bombs and missiles. So that this aircraft has a very powerful attack power. Amazingly, Taranis can be controlled from anywhere using satellite communications

The preaching of the Taranis unmanned combat aircraft has emerged since BAE System unveiled Taranis in a glossy presentation in 2010. To build one prototype unit of Taranis that completed in 2010, costing about 143 million pounds (or approx Rp 2.17 trillion). The prototype was originally planned for test flight in 2012, but is constrained by the England flight laws and there are still technical obstacles in the plane.
During this time the British military's drone fleet operated in a manner controlled by the controlling officers who were on the ground. Taranis unmanned combat jet will use a computer system that allows the aircraft is able to maneuver independently. The computer system will contact the officers on the ground and ask the permission to carry out an air attack that using the aircraft weapons systems.
