Ongoing advances in all-electric drive trains have opened up some radical design possibilities for e-bikes, and while many of the electric motorcycles we've seen stick to a conventional layout, others are definitely looking to push into territory where only highly-customized bikes dare to tread. Maybe you are interested in having one of them ..
Here are three radical designs electric motorcycle ever produced,
3. Agility Saietta
Freed from the constraints of complicated combustion engines and all the associated tackle, designer Lawrence Marazzi has unveiled a brand new, fully electric British motorcycle that turns the rules of motorcycle design on their head. The Saietta features a hossack-inspired front end, an eye-popping fairing design and a crazy degree of mass centralization that could only be achieved with battery cells. Billed as a guerrilla commuter, it promises to be a very exhilarating ride.

Naturally that extra range and speed will cost you: £9,975 for the S and £13,975 for the R, figures that equate to roughly U.S. $16,200 and U.S. $22,650. Hefty sums, both, but nobody said being on the cutting edge of the humpbacked sport bike trend was going to be cheap. This bike has the power to weight ratio of 675 hp per tonne.
2. Lito Sora
Montreal's Lito has thrown a new electric motorcycle that makes some pretty outrageous claims. Motorcycle is equipped by an electric engine that can generate 12 kWh of power which stored in onboard lithium polymer batteries gives the Sora a massive 300 km range – that's 185 miles between charges. What is more impressive of the electric motorcycle can be driven up to a top speed of 200 kph (125 mph) so that it can make you feel like flying.
With chopper/fighter bad boy looks and some interesting and innovative features like in-dash touch screen GPS and electronically adjustable ergonomics, the Sora looks like an absolute animal of a machine. Drop it down for a relaxed, cruisy highway position, crank it up for extra agility and a more aggressive sporting stance. It'll be fascinating to see what sort of difference that system makes to the feel of the bike.

1. zecOO
Designed by Kota Nezu of Znug Design, the zecOO was unveiled at the 2012 Tokyo Motor Show in March and is reportedly headed for small scale production. the zecOO’s stylistic features like hub-center steering, large-sized wheels, long, raking windshield and single sided swing-arm that immediately grabs the attention of the onlookers. However, the performance specs are not as powerful as the design of this low-rider aesthetic.
The zecOO is a handmade motorcycle, assembled by highly-skilled craftsmen for each customer. Many of the parts are machined from solid aluminum alloy block, and it is made with meticulous attention to detail, even to the individual screws. The characteristic front and rear swing arms is welding the aluminum alloy board deliberately, polished and finished up.
The combination of YASA 750 motor and SEVCON GEN4 controller provide a maximum torque of 750 Nm, and since it is an electric drive, the acceleration is smooth and uninterrupted. With zecOO, riding feeling of a different dimension is born. The zecOO has a range of between 88 and 136 km (55 to 85 miles), which is pretty good. Top speed is 120 kph (75 mph), which is comfortably more than the 100 kph limit on Japanese highways. Weight is a hefty 245kg, but on the plus side, the bike takes just four to six hours to charge.
