SsangYong is not normally a brand whose styling we're comfortable with, but this SIV-1 Concept represents a marked improvement in the company's aesthetics.
The ability to design something as unpleasant as the Rodius crossover van takes a certain skill, but South Korean automaker SsangYong has risen to that unfortunate challenge. However, its new SIV-1 Concept is a definite step in the right design direction.
Standing for Smart Interface Vehicle, the SIV-1 is a direct follow-up to the brand’s XIV-1 from the 2011 Frankfurt show. The SIV-1 utilizes a special heat coating to increase driving safety in all driving conditions.

SsangYong SIV-1 is premiering at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This car is formatted concept CUV (crossover utility vehicle) emits strong new design philosophy of SsangYong.
The interior is pure fantasy concept. The dash gets a freestanding LCD screen while the centre fascia uses a lot of fancy metallic bits with eerie red luminous strips for more drama. It has four bucket seats to instil some sporty intentions into the futuristic cabin.
