Durango Dazzling Performance

The automotive society or even more fanatical fans of the Dodge vehicles, have been shocked by the appearance of the latest 2014 Dodge Durango, while attendance at the 2013 New York Auto Show which held on March 29 to April 7, 2013, at the Jacob Javits Center, New York City. Dodge’s official press release for the new 2014 Dodge Durango states, "Built on the Dodge brand’s pillars of style, performance and innovation, the new 2014 Dodge Durango will deliver state-of-the-art technology in both form and function."

This Dodge's newest SUV mainstay significant changes in strategic parts of its body. Starting from the new front view with a crosshair grille over inflate. Still on the front, the main new projector-lamp with LED daytime running lights make it more impressive and sporty.

While At the rear of the Durango, 192 LEDs racetrack taillights show a family resemblance to the Charger and Dart, while a new rear fascia adds to the styling while also allowing for an integrated trailer hitch.

For Interior changes have been more substantial, but not sure entirely successful. A new digital instrument cluster and consoles such as a touchscreen with size of 5 and 8.4 inches, Uconnect Access system with wi-fi built in were installed, while the steering wheel ad shift knob get a new design. The overall feel and quality of the cabin seems to be improved as well, but on the whole it looks like a  it of a mess. While specific to the Limited Edition variants is also installed heated seats and steering wheel, and seat are made from high quality leather.

The 2014 Dodge Durango comes with two engine options, namely the 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine that produces power of 295 hp combined with new system of 8-speed transmission with rotary gear shift. This new transmission also makes Dodge's flagship SUV 9 percent more economical of fuel consumption than the previous model.

There is also a choice of 5.7-liter V8 HEMI engine that produces power of 360 hp. This machine is supported Fuel Saver Technology with cylinder deactivation (if fewer power required to move the car with the 4-cylinder). Eco Mode contribute to the efficient use of fuel. Eco Mode optimizes gear shift schedule, throttle sensitivity.
