The Ducati makes racing-bikes and also makes bikes for road use. The company is owned by Audi through its Italian division Lamborghini. Ducati Bikes have been a symbol of aristocratic approach. The brand is followed by a number of world celebrities. Now, the news around is, Ducati has recently taken the covers off from the sensational Hypermotard, a naked bike. The only really new bike is the second-generation Hypermotard. It’s offered in two versions, Base and SP.

Hypermotards have a sharp design and special and still emits as dirt-bike
performance. Both motorcycles featuring high ground clearance, with thin
waistline and upright driving position plus Ducati-style trellis frame (with 34 mm steel tubing) is integrated with a lightweight cast aluminum tailsection.
They also equipped with the most advanced electronics suite developed by Ducati: ride-by-wire with three selectable power maps, traction control, and Brembo brakes with Bosch ABS that has three selectable levels of intervention.
Both models boast a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, testastretta 11 degree, V-twin engine with the displacement of 821 cc. The single-cylinder, 4 valve engine spits out the maximum power production of 110 hp at 9,250 rpm while the utmost torque from this engine generates is 89 Nm at 7,500 rpm for power-packed riding. All the rich power goes to the back wheels via a belt to a six speed gearbox which has one down and rest gears up shift pattern and gear-shifting has been built very smooth and cursive.
The main difference between the Hypermotard and the Hypermotard SP is suspension. The Hypermotard uses a 43 mm Kayaba front fork featuring 6.7 in. (170.18 mm) of wheel travel, and a Sachs shock absorber that ensures 5.9 in. (149.86 mm) of rear travel. The Hypermotard SP, on the other hand, has the latest lightweight 50 mm Marzocchi front fork, an all-aluminum unit whose 7.3 in. (185.42 mm) of travel is complemented nicely by 6.9 in. (175.26 mm) of rear travel. Cornering clearance is ample, offering lean angles up to 47.5 degrees, thanks to the standard Pirelli SuperDiablo Corsa tires. The Hypermotard SP tips the scales at just 171 kg (377 lb).
