This motor is made for honored and remembered of three-time World Champion of F-1 racing, Ayrton Senna. He was one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers ever to have raced and the DP Customs D2 Defensor motorcycle is a nice tribute to his memory and legendary achievements. The specialized motorcycle was designed and created by DP Customs Motorcycle Workshop based in Arizona, USA.
There are two modifiers of DP Custom, Jarrod and Justin Del Prado, who was involved in the architectures. This two guys that previously built the initial Senna-inspired Defensor which got the attention of Volvo Factory driver Alex Figge, as one of huge fans of Senna. Alex insisted quite a lot that DP Customs re-created an updated version of the initial Defensor, with a more modern character. Starting with a 2001 1200cc Evo Harley-Davidson which totally changed its appearance with a strong retro feel of racing.

The Del Prado brothers took everything off the bike, save for the engine and front part of the frame. The engine itself and the rear wheel sprocket went black for a better contract with the final color scheme of the Ayrton Senna bike. Frame and engine painted black. Senna nuance that looks at the use of the flag of Brazil, and black on the fuel tank. Then cover the headlights shine in yellow.

A Crane Single Fire Coil/Ignition was installed to match the better performance offered by the Big Sucker intake and the DP Customs x-pipe custom exhaust designed and build by Justin. The low, spring-mounted seat is covered in top-drawer Alcantara leather, for a more exquisite character.
As for the paint job, we'll easily recognize the scheme Senna wore on his racing helmet. Created by Sid Mosca, who had also painted helmets for Emerson Fittipaldi and Nelson Piquet, the yellow-green-dark blue Brazilian scheme was changed a bit for a stronger visual impact. All in all, a great tribute custom motorcycle for a legendary driver! *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOEVOLUTION | OVI | PIKIRAN RAKYAT 21122012]
