Five models of Le Mans Prototype (LMP) race car was able to be sold as collector's items. These cars can be taken home and can be used on the track as fast as desired. If you have ever watched and marveled at the endurance race Racing car passing in the circuit, and probably has occurred, whether these race cars can be bought?
There are several companies that can realize the desire that fans can buy the collector class high performance sports car prototype is. With minimal body weight, wing width and lightweight, and super fast acceleration, promising all the pleasures expected. Here are five supercar prototype.
1. Radical Sportscar
Quite the most famous and is growing fairly Radical Sportscars, a small company that has made the British Racing LMP - style racing car for the road since 1997. To date it has sold more than 1,000 units. It has a number of models that can be used on the streets for some countries.
The SR3 SL will feature Ford’s new 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, with some radical (get it?) tweaking, so in this application it will produce 300-hp, which is a lot when you consider the whole vehicle weighs just under 1,500 lbs. This model will also feature a six-speed paddle shift gearbox and a fly-by-wire throttle. Not extreme enough for you? Radical will also be offering a ‘Race Pack’ that will feature changeable engine mapping, an FIA approved fuel-cell, and a high downforce rear wing.
Radical claims the quickest Nurburgring lap time of any road-legal car at 6:48. Most of Radical's products are based on the open-top SR3, but is now developing the new RXC that follows the latest trend in LMP racers with a closed cockpit design. With a 3.7-liter V6 and just 900 kg to push, the RXC is projected to run from 0-62 in 2.8 seconds.
Powering the RXC is a 3.7-liter Ford Duratec V6 with variable valve timing and electronic fuel injection, tuned by Radical's own engineers to deliver 380 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels to propel the 900kg flyweight to 60 in a quoted 2.8 seconds and on to a 175 mph top speed.

2. Caterham-Lola SP/300.R
LMP race car models produced in cooperation between Caterham and Lola. Caterham known as principal for Lotus Seven series cars, while racing chassis constructor Lola is experienced but amid twisted hard times. Supported in the United States, used in American Le Mans Series Racing Champions Dyson, the SP/300.R is the first in a new series of Caterhams aimed to extend the company's product portfolio.
Lola designed the SP/300.R on aerodynamic lines rather than looks, using an aluminium tub as its basic chassis, front splitter and large wing to reduce lift, and a flat underbody. It also features an F1-style raised nose section which should help weekend racers with maintenance, apparently. Engines from Ford Duratec 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine capable of producing 300 hp for a 0-60 mph sprint takes 2.5 seconds, and top speed of 170 mph.
The SP/300.R gets full race suspension - dual wishbones, pushrod damers, adjustable ride height - coupled with 13-inch racing rims, as well as racing gubbins such as fire extinguisher, six-point harness, et al. Just 25 will be made a year, in preparation for the first one-make race series in 2012 which Caterham says will start initially on UK circuits, with the possibility of having one round abroad.

3. Milan Abarth
The name Abarth may be inexorably tied to Fiat, standing as it does these days for performance versions of the 500 and Punto. But that wasn't always the case. The company was founded by Karl Abarth (who later changed his name to Carlo when he moved from Austria to Italy) and was initially focused on racing, later tuning everything from Fiats and Autobianchis to Renaults and Porsches. But while the brand has long since belonged to Fiat, Karl's descendants are apparently still active in their own right, producing the supercar you see here with the 'Milan Supercars' brand.
Manufactured limited to seven prototypes, the Milan Abarth have great power, light weight body with the specifications of machines available to 1.700 hp, Milan Supercars plans to provide the support legs adequate to compensate for extreme performance.
If it has the right tires and gearing, it could sprint to 62 mph in around two seconds (that could mean both under and over the specified value). With a curb weight hovering around the thousand-kilo mark (give or take a hundred kg), that promises to provide absolutely bonkers levels of performance. Each of the 14 examples will be built according to customer specifications, with prices starting at 300,000 euros. Look for further details when the car is officially unveiled in February, 2013.

4. Praga R1
Produced in a limited edition and made in the Czech Republic with a closed cockpit design features, for most cars, there are open-top. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine sourced from Renault Sport Technologies which is rated at 210 hp. Power is channelized to the rear wheels through JFR 6-speed Hewland sequential gearbox with pneumatic control and an optional self-locking differential.
Though the R1 will be a track only car but the two seat model is homologated for normal roads that allows the interested buyers can use it for regular commute. Furthermore, the other components like Motec electronic engine management, AP Racing clutch and Koni dampers complete the package, which all stuck-known brand, and certainly promising performance when used to be really a thrilling sensation.

5. Automobili Turismo e-Sport
The next LMP race car that can be bought coming from Automobili Turismo e-Sport (ATS) has launched the Sport 1000. The chassis is made of stainless steel, paneled in aluminum, and only weighs 55kg while the body completely removable in 5 minutes is made of GRP and weighs 57 kg.
Developed for racing, but it is legal to use on the street, the ATS Sport 1000 which has a weight of only 400 kg and is powered by an inline four-cylinder motorcycle engine, buyers can choose the machine from Suzuki, Honda or Yamaha. The transmission is a chain drive and the limited slip differential is a Quaife ATB.
