Lykan Hypersport is the brainchild of Lebanese entrepreneur and designer Ralph Debbas, who began thinking up the supercar when he was an automotive design student. This car is limited production, there are only seven units in the world.

The extreme 2-seat coupe made from carbon fiber and other lightweight materials, and built with help from specialty coachbuilder Magna Steyr, with the cooperation of Alfredo Stola of Studiotorino. Sharp design lines on all sides, at first glance like a Lamborghini Aventador.

The headlights will feature diamond-encrusted LEDs, while the hood will be gold-plated – the perfect complement to the rest of the car’s lightweight construction, the rear lights are decorated with diamonds, and has a holographic display.

Not only elegant appearance, the car was also very tough. Using the six-cylinder Boxer engine developed RUF Automobile, Germany. This machine is capable of producing power 750 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 kph in 2.8 seconds with a maximum speed of 390 kph.

W Motors will outfit the Lykan’s interior with diamonds, gold, and platinum as well as give each of the seven lucky owners a Cyrus Klepcys Watch, which itself is valued at U.S. $200,000 (or approx Rp. 1.93 billion). Each owner will also get a dedicated concierge service line. The first deliveries are expected to occur at the end of 2013, but you can expect to hear a lot more about Beirut-based W Motors before then.
So who is the first buyer of this car? A billionaire from Qatar became the first buyer Lykan Hypersport, most expensive cars in the world today. Sheikh Jawan bin Hamad Al-Thani had to spend up to U.S. $3.5 million (about Rp. 34 billion) to bring home the black colored Lykan Hypersport. There are still six more units if you want to buy it. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | WARDSAUTO | OVI | PIKIRAN RAKYAT 01022013]
