Moto Cage-Six made for the Freestyler

Positive growth of sport characterized motorcycle sales in the global market encourages manufacturers such as Yamaha to make sport variants of motorcycles using cage frame. Yamaha calls its new product by the name of Cage-Six. What is different with sport bikes in general is a special concept for the freestyler who need motorcycle with extra power, either from the engine and body resistance.

The Cage Six is based on the XJ6 model, but has taken things way ahead. As far as we're concerned, the Cage Six boasts some lines in the vein of the new Tenere and Super Tenere, boasting a mixture of sleek curves and squared elements which go perfectly with its aggressive nature.

Glimpse of curves similar to the Yamaha FZ-1 bike, but Cage-Six more muscular because its tubular chassis adopts lighter yellow color. Because the motor is specially designed for freestyler, the seats were made single seater models.

This moto-bike is also supported by a number of protection to guard against the impact. It can be seen in the presence of a layer of iron (skidplate) contained in the aft body and under the engine. Additionally handguard installed to protect the hand. While on the legs, Yamaha Cage-Six adopts 17" rim that wrapped in two special tires. As for front brakes apply the dual disc and rear use two calipers brake.

Yamaha did not mention the engine is used on their moto-bike concept. But from the four exhaust pipes, it's look like the machine used on Yamaha XJ-6. The first appearence of Yamaha Cage-Six was in German Intermot Motorcycle and Scooter Show, in Koln, Germany, last October, 2012. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOCONCEPTION | MOTOR CYCLIST 100 | OVI | PIKIRAN RAKYAT 04012013]
