However, a number of images of this urban car design had been published over the internet. MicroMAX is not only small, but also environmentally friendly and cost because this all-electric vehicle that seeks to merge personal and public transportation.
The car is made from the idea of Frank Rinderknecht, founder and CEO of Rinspeed, to make people going towards the same destination ride in the same vehicle to reduce carbon emissions and traffic jams. The car is designed to function just like other web-based or smartphone-based car sharing services, but includes upright seats and space for a stroller or a shopping cart, making the vehicle ideal for short-distance travels.

The MicroMAX is 3.6 meters long and over 2.2-meters high, providing all the space necessary for an urban commuter. With three upright seats, designed to further save space, the electric vehicle can also include a coffee maker or a refrigerator for the passengers to enjoy their short travel. The vehicle aims to encourage passengers to get in and ride because it’s extremely convenient, simple and environmentally friendly.
As the name implies, although it has a spacious cabin with a fairly compact dimensions, the size is equivalent to the Fiat 500 city car. For the exterior, MicroMAX is equally unique. The Local Brand
The development of micro cars also got the attention of the government of Indonesia. Budi Darmadi, Director General of High Technology-based seed told reporters in Jakarta that the Indonesian government would help the local auto industry to create a vehicle platform that can be used in the micro-car market segment.
Local producers will be towed to learn about and create their products using local brands with a platform that can be more economically competitive.
