After a long wait finally the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series first debuted at the LA Auto Show 2012. 2014 SLS AMG Black Series is the fifth model (possibly the wildest) from Mercedes AMG. This gorgeous and vivacious car from Mercedes is equipped with a 6.3-liter V8 engine and is a tangible manifestation of what engineers can do if given the free rein.

Under the hood is mounted 6.3-liter V8 engine, which can generate power of 622 hp for the standard variant. In the GT variant, produces power 59 hp more than the standard variant. The engine now developed a total of 622 horses, but torque is saw the fall of 11 lb-ft compared to both gullwing variants now at 468 lb-ft.
This machine combined with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission that conduit power to the rear wheels and allows this beast to sprint from zero to 62 mph (100 kph) in 3.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 196 mph(317kph).
Mercedes uses improved ceramic brakes for stopping it, electronically controlled rear differential and widened tracks to improve the overall handling of the car.

On the other hand, the weight of the car is also reduced by the extensive use of carbon fiber to create its parts such as the big front splitter, side skirts, fixed rear wing, massive diffuser and wider track front and rear help shed 154 pounds (70 kg) of weight in comparison to SLS AMG GT. other measures to reduce weight including the new lithium-ion battery and a titanium exhaust system. Totalweight ofthis caris3,417pounds (1,275 kg).
The car's interior gets leather Alcantara finished with matching stitching. The design of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black is inspired by the SLS AMG GT3 race car and it is expected to hit the U.S. market in the summer of 2013.
