Developing Ultra-Compact Cars Continued

The high fuel consumption by motor vehicles directly has an impact on the rise of air pollution in the earth. Governments of developed countries that have the auto industry take action to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by issuing a policy which encourages the production of ultra-compact car.

The Japanese government since early August have issued policies to provide special subsidies for producers from the country making it ultra-compact car category. Subsidies granted officially began in 2013.

One manufacturer who enthusiastically followed the Japanese government program that is Toyota Auto Body Co., Which is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation. Manufacturing is developing and plans to market the ultra-compact vehicle named Coms manifold with single-seat electric car. Coms EV ready for sale at a price of ¥ 660,000 or about Rp. 80.5 million (USD 8,430).

Not only Toyota, Nissan and Suzuki are also preparing to follow in the footsteps of Toyota. It's given the market share of ultra-compact cars in Japan are increasingly congested urban traffic. Moreover, the availability of parking in major Japanese cities have also increasingly limited so do not be surprised if the program ultra-compact car to attract a growing number of Japanese car manufacturers.
Ultra-compact cars have specifications dimensions smaller body size than city car. The dimensions are small two-passenger car equivalent, because it is called ultra-compact, because it is smaller than compact cars in general.

Starting fiscal year 2013 for 3 years, the Japanese government will select 100 medical and tourism projects that using ultra-compact car. Subsidies apply to the purchase of 3,000 cars with the price range ¥ 500,000 - ¥ 1 million, or Rp. 61 million - Rp. 122 million (USD 6,300 - USD 12,780).

Recipients of the project include local governments and hotels to promote tourism, and transport companies.
