Three electric vehicles is made up of three types, namely a small two-passenger electric vehicle called the Eco E, a small pickup truck called EcoTruck can transport goods up to 1000 lbs (500 kg) and the type of van with the name EcoVan. All three have a relatively cheap price of other electric vehicles.
Eco E sale to start at a price of 9,995 U.S. dollars or equivalent to Rp. 94 million, to EcoTruck sold 16,995 U.S. dollars or equivalent to Rp. 160 million and the latest Eco-Van is priced at U.S. $ 17,995 or equivalent to Rp. 169 million.
All those electric vehicles were made by the Liuzhou Wuling Special Purpose Vehicle Manufacturing Co. AEMC company was founded by Lincoln and Jaguar dealership owner in California who has opted to import vehicles directly from China.
These electric vehicle use of absorbed glass mat batteries (AGM). This gives the vehicles a range of between 25 and 40 miles (40 and 64 km) - their top speed is limited to 25 mph (40 km/h).
While in Indonesia, the price of locally-made electric vehicles expected to be above 21,240 U.S. dollars or equivalent Rp. 200 million.
