Honda Fit EV (Electric Vehicle) won title the most efficient of electric-powered car in the United States from the Environment Protection Agency (EPA). From the results of tests conducted by EPA, Honda Fit EV can achieve mileage 83 miles or equivalent with 133.6 kms in a single fully battery charge.
Based on EPA calculations, power efficiency is achieved if the vehicle is converted into a conventional fuel is comparable to 118 mpg or 50.1 km/liter. EPA says the average energy consumption is most economical when compared to another electric-powered cars.

Honda Fit EV Concept was first introduced on November 17, 2010 in the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. This car-based platform plug-in hybrid and Electric Vehicle. Honda Fit EV is designed to meet the needs of everyday driving for commuters.

This ideal vehicle has three driving mode options, namely sport, normal, and eco which is adoption of Honda CR-Z. Carry the electric motor 92-kilowatt capacity and is capable of producing maximum power of 125 PS and 255 Nm of torque.
This Honda Fit EV also features Bio Fabric Seat, Honda Satellite – linked Navigation System, Six airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Electric Brake Distribution (EBD). Fit EV uses a Lithium-ion battery which with the help of the 6.6kw on-board charger is capable of recharging a deflated battery in 3 hours when using a 240 volt circuit.

Honda Fit EV electric car into the U.S. market starting this summer 2012. For starters, Honda will lease these units to consumers in some states such as California, Oregon to the East Coast of the United States. At $36,625, the electric Fit will cost considerably more than a gasoline-powered one.

While for the European market, Honda will begin to market beginning in 2013. Honda Fit EV to be part of the project environmentally friendly cars that Honda has committed to develop and make the "Earth Dreams Technology" to enhance the level of fuel consumption and reduce CO2 emissions.
