Futuristic Design of Electric Motorcycles (Part-1)

Electrical energy is predicted to be the driving source of a motor vehicle in the future to replace materials derived from fossil fuels. The high potential for electrical energy can be seen clearly from the presence of a variety of motorcycle design the future that no longer rely on petroleum fuels.

The future of motorcycle design is not only unique and futuristic character, also looks eye catching. The concept is already mengabungkan image of the art design of two-wheeled vehicles with electric motors are strong characters. At least six electric motorcycle designs attract much attention of motorcycle enthusiasts in cyberspace.

1. Frog eBike
This bike is designed as a concept of two-wheeled electric-powered vehicles that accentuates the impression of high art. The design is inspired Yamaha FZ75O the sport-aura and later developed into eBike by Frog Design modification house.

With a futuristic design that highlights the aura, Frog eBike. wear on the rear monoshock suspension and electric motors at the rear wheels. Battery energy source mounted at the bottom of the chassis so as not to disturb the overall appearance of the motorcycle.

Advanced technology inherent in the system of electronic fly by wire controls, digital panel, and internet connectivity. Frog eBike, is a creation of Hwang Jin Soek.

2. Honda Oree
Honda Oree is the creation of two students from Germany who was named Nike Albertus and Andre Look. Both make a streetfighter-style bike is a manifestation of the idea of two-wheeled vehicle capable of moving in a dynamic and fast on the streets.

That is why the figure of a motorcycle made seminimalis possible, including the placement of electric motors and batteries that go into the body.

Honda Oree driven electric motor that is able to issue a maximum power of 90 hp, 125 lb-ft of torque, so it can go up to a top speed of 190 km/h. Electric motor power flowed directly to the rear wheels via a belt. Motorcycle which was first introduced in 2008 Intermot Exhibition Cologne, Germany, have not been produced.

3. AER Racing
In addition to designing the Honda Oree, Andree Look also make other creations that were named AER Racing. The concept is a motorcycle that has a great power in the category of two-wheel drive with electric energy.

That's why the AER Racing has four electric motors are capable of producing a total of 143.5 kw.

Even to generate greater thrust, AER Racing is also equipped with a small electric motor at the front wheels. Its function is to change the outcome of the braking energy into the energy driving the motorcycle.

4. Amplio
Motorcycle design created by designer Sebastian Tymoczko did not show a big engine power, but rather focus on the practicality of replacing the battery when its energy is exhausted. Amplio Electric Motorcycle equipped with an advanced technology battery replacement so that when the motorcycle until the battery charging station, the rider just sufficient to replace the battery and do not have long to wait for refills.

An empty battery will be recharged and re-live set Amplio other electric motorcycles. Each battery has a power of 10 kWh is enough to push Amplio roam the streets. Nevertheless in case of battery in the way endless possibility, Amplio equipped with technology capable of storing the braking energy to the battery.

5. Shavit
Shavit electric motorcycle designer, Eyal Melnik an Israeli student at Shenkar College of Design and Engineering, more focus on the concept of two-wheeled vehicle that has a comfortable sitting position for long distance touring trips. Made slightly upright sitting position and relaxed so it does not get tired along the way.
