A breakthrough for electric cars do more to popularize the eight automotive world's principals from the U.S. and Germany. Car industry is to standardize the design of the device charger to recharge electric car batteries so that consumers no longer bothered by the affairs of a different tool for the brand is not the same vehicle.

The eight manufacturers were calling their creation tools as the "Combined Charging System '. Charger device that is put on models jack plugs and refill with the same design.

For Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Daimler, Ford, General Motors, Porsche, and Volkswagen, working together to make this design an electric car infrastructure becomes increasingly easy and inexpensive. They can work together to build electric car charging facilities are similar in different parts of the world. In addition, the price can be suppressed because it can be mass produced. Most importantly these devices are also becoming a universal tool because it can be used in Europe and the U.S..

Combined Charging System design system incorporates a version of AC and DC charging. The system plugs can also be used for AC power with a single and three-phase character. While for his DC system can be used to recharge at home and DC ultra fast charging at public charging stations.

Not only that, the advantages of new technology is designed to stream electricity that is compatible with high speed for fast charging systems of between 15 to 20 minutes. The technology is very helpful at the time the motorist is to have high activity and need a quick recharge time.

So far eight breakthrough that made the world's manufacturer has received recognition from The International Society of Automotive Engineers. In fact, the Association has decided, Combined Charging System technology is the standardization for electric car charging system. The decision was reinforced by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association.
Currently the new charger technology is entering the final stages of development. The plan is the initial demonstration of rechargeable electric cars will be performed at the event titled 26th Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS26) at the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend (May 6-9, 2012). Once demonstrated, the commercial marketing conducted from December 2012. Eight car manufacturers have expressed readiness to produce an electric vehicle charger that uses the latest design in early 2013. *** [OVI | TORQUE NEWS | PIKIRAN RAKYAT 11052012]
